A image of the woman repeatedly hitting her head against a glass window at Malorie’s hospital appointment will be recognised by fans of the first Bird Box. In recent video, we watch Spanish civilians fleeing the streets while news anchors from around the globe explain the bizarre occurrences in a variety of languages. The worst is yet to come, Sebastian realises as he dashes from his office block to his car after a startling occurrence.
‘Bird Box Barcelona’ : Plot
Bird Box Barcelona takes place in Barcelona, Spain, and is set in a different timeframe than the original. In the film, Sebastian and his small daughter Anna struggle to get through their city’s desolate streets. Sebastian and Anna forge an uneasy alliance with a group of other survivors while evading the creatures who are causing a sharp fall in the world’s population.
Curiously, the father and daughter must deal with a threat that is “even more sinister” than the ones that might cause a person to take their own life, according to the official announcement on the Netflix site Tudum.
