Deadpool 3 Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds get along. The two argue about their respective roles in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, the film that introduced us to Reynolds as Wade Wilson (a.k.a. Deadpool) and served as the impetus for the Deadpool trilogy. Logan (Jackman) and Wade (Reynolds) have a relationship as actors (and characters) rooted in the comic book history, where they frequently cross swords.
Viewers received X-Men Origins: Wolverine poorly, and the challenges associated with the initial release of Deadpool 3 have made it unsurprising that we haven’t seen the two on screen again.

That is, until now.
Reynolds collaborated with filmmaker Shawn Levy on Free Guy and The Adam Project, and he has made a significant effort to bring us Deadpool 3. He has also convinced Wolverine to come out of his old man Logan retirement and attend the film with him!
Logan was Jackman’s swan song for the role at the time of its release. We got the old man Logan we wanted, Jackman received a well-received send-off. It was a satisfying conclusion to his Wolverine odyssey. However, moviegoers will soon get to see Wolverine once more when he faces off against Deadpool because Reynolds lobbied for it vigorously enough. It was a long time coming announcement, and Reynolds recently talked about getting Jackman back into Wolverine’s Adamantium claws.
Wolverine’s Return: Reynolds’ Role in Convincing Jackman for ‘Deadpool 3
Deadpool 3 In a recent interview with Variety, Reynolds discussed how they had always intended to bring Jackman back as Logan. But that this moment felt like the right one to accomplish it. Reynold remarked, “We’ve wanted to do this for years, and it’s oddly the ideal time. “I never gave up [on attempting to persuade him to return as Wolverine]. Over the years, I’ve been bugging him like a gnat. As much as I believe in effort, chance, and all those mythical intersections, I also believe in timing. The key is timing. I believe he was prepared. I believe he was elated.

Reynolds continued by describing how he presented Jackman with the change. “And what we pitched him was different enough from the character he is familiar with and the character. He has left behind that it gives him something entirely new to play and something he is really excited to do,” the author continued. Overall, because we have been anticipating this. It is an exciting time to be an X-Men fan, especially of these characters.
