Saint X on Hulu Release Trailer and Cast: Meet the Actors of the Hulu Series
As Claire, a young person dealing with the horrific death of her sister years before, Alycia Debnam-Carey plays the lead role. In the past, Debnam-Carey played the roles of Lexa in The 100 and Alicia in Fear the Walking Dead. She was also in the 2016 horror movie Friend Request, which you might remember. Victoria Pedretti, known for her roles in You and The Haunting of Bly Manor, was initially cast in the role of Claire; however, after Pedretti departed the production for creative differences, Debnam-Carey was cast in the part.
Kenlee Townsend portrays a younger version of Debnam-Carey’s character in scenes of the happy family before catastrophe ruined their holiday. In addition to appearing in the short film My House, this is Townsend’s first appearance on screen. West Duchovny plays Alison in these sequences. Duchovny, the daughter of actors David Duchovny and Téa Leoni, has performed in a number of projects, including the Magicians, the upcoming Netflix series Painkiller, and the X-Files reboot.

The cast of Saint X includes Josh Bonzie as Clive Richardson, a resort employee suspected of being responsible for Alison’s death. Michael Park and Betsy Brandt portray Bill and Mia Thomas, Alison and Claire’s parents. Jayden Elijah plays Edwin, while Wes is played by Joshuah Melnick and Holly by Amy Gordon.
The show is set on the Caribbean island of Saint X but was filmed in the Dominican Republic. Michael Park previously starred in Stranger Things and As the World Turns, while Betsy Brandt is known for her roles in Breaking Bad and Love, Victor. Behind Saint X: Meet the Crew
Dee Rees, who both directs and executive produces Saint X, is a talented director and executive producer. Rees has won a Directors Guild of America Award and a United States Artists Fellowship in addition to becoming the first African American woman to direct a Criterion release. She contributed to the 2006 films When the Levees Broke and Inside Man with her instructor, Spike Lee. Her most recent projects include the films Pariah, Mudbound, and Bessie, as well as episodes of the When We Rise, Empire, and Space Force television series. She also wrote and directed those films.

Leila Gerstein wrote the screenplay for Saint X. She has written for popular series such as The O.C. and The Handmaid’s Tale, winning an Emmy. But as Alison’s body is found in the river and Claire tells her parents, the music and lighting turn ominous. Despite the police ruling it as an accident, Claire’s family denies it.

The show portrays Claire as an adult who is haunted by the case, searching for chilling details online. Her friends urge her to get help due to her stalker tendencies.
