On April 18, 2023, Apple TV+ unveiled the first Frog & Toad Trailer Release Cast. With the exception of a few modern tweaks, including the brilliant colouring of the setting and the characters, it exposes the classic 2D animation style that is loyal to the original picture books. The narrator introduces Toad (Kevin Michael Richardson), a shorter, quieter companion who joins Frog on his escapades, and Frog (Nat Faxon), an animated and gregarious frog. To demonstrate the adage “with friends, anything is possible,” the couple is displayed in various locations and comes across additional friendly critters along the journey.
“Who’s Behind Frog and Toad?”
Rob Hoegee is the show’s creator and executive producer, as was already noted. On other animated series like Teen Titans Go!, Generator Rex, and Thunderbirds Are Go, he has a number of writing credits. Another animated programme he produced is Stillwater, which will get a third season on Apple TV.

Chris Prynoski (The Legend of Vox Machina), Shannon Prynoski (Big Mouth), Antonio Canobbio (Digman!) and Ben Kalina (Kiff), all from the production studio Titmouse, are working with him as executive producers. Adrianne and Adam Lobel, Arnold Lobel’s kids, are also executive producers on the project.
“Who’s in the Cast of Frog and Toad?”
Nat Faxon and Kevin Michael Richardson will be the voice actors for the titular amphibians. In collaboration with actor Jim Rash (Community), who also writes and performs, Faxon co-wrote the screenplays for the films The Descendants and The Way Way Back. The Conners, Loot, and Our Flag Means Death are just a few of the comedic programmes in which Faxon has appeared.
Richardson is a well-known voice actor that has been in a lot of animated films and television shows. He provided the voices for a number of characters in Trolls: Trolltopia, American Dad!, Family Guy, The Simpsons, and Family Guy. Recently, Richardson appeared in the popular television shows Invincible and The Super Mario Bros. Movie.

Ron Funches, Margaret Cho, and Yvette Nicole Brown voice anthropomorphic animals alongside the main actors. Aparna Nancherla, Cole Escola, and Tom Kenny also make their series debuts as Snail, Gopher, and Mink. Fortune Feimster, Selene Luna, and John Hodgman portray Lizard, Robin, and Mouse, respectively. Stephen Tobolowsky voices Dragonfly, Betsy Sodaro voices Squirrel, and Rob Hoegee voices Mole.
