The MGM+ series returns for a scarier from Season 2 trailer, endorsed by Stephen King. Creator John Gryphon’s show follows the residents of a small town trapped by paranormal forces. The first season premiered in Feb. 2022 and a second season was approved before the April 2022 finale. Season 2 is set to air in April 2023.
The debut season of From, led by director Harold Perrineau of Lost fame, saw the protagonists fighting to stay alive and find a way out. However, In the second season, they will uncover the town’s dreadful history and hidden secrets, while also contending with the chaos created by a group of newcomers.
Following the Emmy-winning series Godfather of Harlem, From quickly rose to become the network’s most watched original series launch. It is now on pace to do so. At the time, it ranked fourth among the network’s most-watched programs, trailing Godfather of Harlem, Billy the Kid, and War of the Worlds Season 1.

From’s second season is set to premiere on April 23, 2023, on MGM+. Viewers can also watch it on MGM through Amazon Prime Video. In Canada, the show is available on Paramount+, and in the UK. It can be seen on Sky Si-Fi.

Furthermore, the second season of the show will consist of 10 episodes, each lasting 45–55 minutes, following the same format as the first season’s 10 episodes. Each new episode will air on the streamer once a week following the season debut.

The From Season 2 teaser is full of jump scares and promises a thrilling experience from Stephen King, the master of horror fiction. The almost three-minute long promotional clip continues where the first season left off.
The opening scene features Perrineau’s character Boyd, experiencing unusual events and sensing the presence of malevolent forces. The scene fades off right there, making it impossible to determine whether the new strangers are related to other forest creatures or are simply another group of monsters looking to prey on the local populace.
The most horrific rendition of Doris Day’s ‘Dream A Little Dream of Me’ plays in the background of the teaser, with dead birds, deformed bodies and spooky people dominating. You won’t ever again hear the song the same way, I guarantee it.
From Season 2 Cast: Who’s Starring in the EPIX Series?
Harold Perrineau, a Lost alum, plays Boyd Stevens, the sheriff and de facto mayor, in the main cast of From. Catalina Sandino Moreno stars as Tabitha Matthews, Eion Bailey as Jim Matthews, and Hannah Cheramy as Julie Matthews. Simon Webster plays Julie’s brother, while Catalina Sandino Moreno portrays Tabitha.
In addition to the main cast, David Alpay portrays Jade, a new arrival living with the Matthews, and Scott McCord plays Victor, the oldest surviving resident of the town. Elizabeth Saunders and Ricky He also feature, as Don and Kenny Liu, the deputy sheriff, respectively. Chloe Van Landschoot (Skin) plays Kristie, the community doctor.
McCord will keep playing the part of Victor now that he is a series regular. A.J. Simmons (Reacher), Angela Moore (Nancy Drew), Deborah Grover (Anne with an E), Kaelen Ohm (Hit & Run), and newcomer Nathan D. Simmons will all make appearances in various roles in From Season 2.

The author of this modern sci-fi horror series is John Gryphon, who has written for The Twilight Zone in the past. The showrunner is Jeff Pinkner, who also writes for television and produces the popular Fox series Fringe. Among others, Pinkner has written screenplays for The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, and Venom. The first four episodes of the second season were helmed by director, producer, and actor Jack Bender. His work on popular television shows like Lost, Alias, The Sopranos, and Game of Thrones, among many others, is what made him most well-known.
Along with MCU directors Russo Brothers and Mike Larocca, who produce through their production label AGBO, riffin, Bender, and Pinkner also serve as executive producers for From. Executive producing are Josh Appelbaum, Andre Nemec, Rola Bauer, Lindsay Dunn, Michael Wright, and Nancy Cotton.
