The popular historical drama series Outlander on Starz finished filming its sixth season in February. After several agonising months, Jamie and Claire’s Journey, everything will be OK, and the Droughtlander affliction that has plagued our screens will finally come to an end. Starz has made the decision to whet spectators’ appetites as it provides indications as to which direction the tale will go with the announcement of the titles for the season’s first eight episodes as we anticipate the arrival of season 7.
On June 16, the first episode of Outlander’s expanded 16-episode run will be released. The main characters of the show, the Scottish warrior Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) and his time-traveling WWII nurse Claire Randall (Caitrona Balfe), have been split up several times throughout the years. “A Life Well Lost” is the title of the first episode, which sounds both cynical and foreboding at the same time. “The Happiest Place on Earth” is the title of episode two; may this be a reference to calmer waters following the rescue? Given that the drama is set around the American Revolution, episode 5 with the intriguing title “Singapore” is one to watch for. “Where the Waters Meet” is the title of the upcoming episode, and “A Practical Guide for Time Travellers” (Episode 7) looks like a work of literature that would be fascinating to read. In addition, the network has revealed that a prequel series called Outlander. Blood of My Blood will help the world of Outlander continue to grow after that season. As it chronicles the lives of Jaime’s parents. The series will attempt to fill in the gaps in his origin narrative.
