Cable network TNT has officially confirmed a new release date for ‘The Lazarus Project’, an action movie that they recently acquired. Sky Although TNT and TBS shelved it along with two other projects due to the Warner Bros. Discovery restructuring, it was originally set to premiere on January 8 of this year. The series will reportedly debut on June 4 and is currently one of TNT’s few surviving originals.
The Lazarus Project depicts the tale of George (Paapa Essiedu), a member of the eponymous clandestine group with the ability to turn back time in the event of an impending catastrophe on Earth. George must decide what he’s ready to give up in order to change the course of history when an accident claims the life of his cherished wife. The series’ teaser trailer suggests that he would do all it takes and put up with any resistance to regain what he lost.
