The well-known show, which is reportedly now in production, unveiled the cast for three of Season 6’s episodes, according to Variety. The well-liked technical thriller has added Paapa Essiedu (The Lazarus Project), Josh Hartnett, Kate Mara (House of Cards), Danny Ramirez (Top Gun: Maverick), Clara Rugaard, Auden Thornton, and Anjana Vasan to its cast for the first three episodes of the current season, with the expectation of more actors signing on for further episodes.

Season 6 of ‘Black Mirror’
Since the most recent fifth season of the popular drama began airing, there has been confusion about what will happen next, prompting viewers to wonder if the series is over. Black Mirror Season 6 proved successful, and a new season of the dystopian thriller will return in May. The revival of the show hasn’t been officially announced, but the next season will include more episodes than the previous one. Black Mirror’s fifth season, which consisted of just three episodes, debuted in June 2019 and starred Miley Cyrus, Anthony Mackie, Andrew Scott, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and Topher Grace from “That 70s Show.”
The following season is the first after the show’s creator Charlie Brooker and his creative collaborator Annabel Jones quit their production firm House of Tomorrow in January 2020 and started working under the new production label Broke and Bones. Soon after, Netflix made a major investment in the business valued up to $100 million. Because Endemol Shine, which backed House of Tomorrow, retained ownership of the rights to Black Mirror, the future of the series was briefly in doubt. However, Netflix was able to come to an agreement that would licence the programme to Banijay Group, which had previously purchased Endemol Shine in 2018.
‘Black Mirror’ Casts Zazie Beetz, Aaron Paul
Beetz played Van on FX’s Atlanta opposite Donald Glover and LaKeith Stanfield, and previously portrayed the luck-wielding mercenary Domino in Deadpool 2. Paul, a star of Breaking Bad, has already ventured into the gloomy realm of Black Mirror, unlike Beetz. The actor, well known for roles in Westworld and BoJack Horseman, voiced Gamer 691 for a one-minute appearance in the “USS Callister” episode of Season 4 of Black Mirror.
Rugaard starred in the series The Rising, and Ramirez appeared in Top Gun: Maverick and will appear in the upcoming film Look Both Ways. After appearing in Gangs of London and The Lazarus Project, Essiedu joins Black Mirror. Hartnett had an appearance in The Fear Index on Sky Atlantic last year, and she will also play the lead in Christopher Nolan’s next film Oppenheimer. While Vasan made his name with Channel 4 and Peacock’s punk rock comedy We Are Lady Parts, Thornton also played Lucy Damon in This Is Us.
